Microsoft Office Software for your new PC

A lot of people I know are getting new computers. There are some great deals right now on both desktop and laptop PC's. I recommend taking a look at the Dell Outlet for some real bargains on computers that have been returned to Dell, and refurbished. Dell Outlet

One problem though is that these computers generally do not come with the Microsoft Office suite of software, specifically Word. Most people I talk to use Word all the time, and would miss it tremendously if it wasn't on their new computer. To add that software at the time of purchase often costs between $150 and $200. So here's a solution for you ... Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 from Sam's Club for $81.88. The sale price is more expensive in the store, and I don't know the shipping charge ... but this price under $100 is pretty good. Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007

Carey used open office for a few years. It works pretty well, although a few things are quite different from MS Office.

I have helped a couple of people install/use Open Office, and it definitely serves the purpose just fine, and the price is right. I'm hoping soon that the Google Docs will have matured enough to actually be good competition to MS Office.
